Terms of service

These terms apply between you and [COMPANY NAME] SARL-S, [ADDRESS], Luxembourg, RCS [NUMBER] ("rett"). By creating an account or placing an order you accept them.
What rett does
rett lets shops ("merchants") offer surprise bags of surplus food for collection. The merchant sells you the food; rett provides the platform and collects payment on the merchant's behalf.
Your account
You must be at least 16 and give accurate details. Keep your login safe; you are responsible for activity on your account.
Surprise bags
- Contents vary daily and are chosen by the merchant. The listing shows an estimated retail value; the bag price is never more than 40% of it.
- Allergens cannot be guaranteed. If you have an allergy, ask the merchant at pickup before eating.
- You can reserve at most 2 bags per order.
Payment
Your card is authorised when you reserve and charged when the merchant scans your order at pickup. Payments are processed by Stripe.
Collection and no-shows
Collect within the pickup window shown. If you do not collect, the bag is charged, because the food was set aside for you. Cancel in the app before the pickup window starts to release the authorisation.
Cancellations by the merchant and refunds
If the merchant cancels, you are not charged. If something went wrong with your bag, contact us within 48 hours at hello@rett.lu and we will review a refund. Because bags are perishable food, the 14-day withdrawal right does not apply (Luxembourg Consumer Code, Art. L.222-5).
Merchants
The merchant terms form part of this signup, not a separate agreement. By accepting during onboarding, merchants confirm that their business holds the required food-business registration and its own liability insurance. Merchants are responsible for the food they sell, including food safety and allergen labelling, and accept rett's per-bag fee and payout terms. rett is a marketplace and never sells or prepares the food.
Acceptance is recorded with the terms version and timestamp. Shops remain pending and inactive until an admin completes business due diligence, KYB checks and human verification.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, resell bags commercially, or interfere with other users. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Liability
Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer under Luxembourg law. Otherwise, rett's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the order concerned.
Law and disputes
Luxembourg law applies. Contact hello@rett.lu first; you may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform or the Luxembourg courts.
These terms are governed by Luxembourg law. Courts of Luxembourg City have jurisdiction.
